CheckIn Pro — Privacy Policy

CheckIn Pro is a contest-prep progress-photo app. This policy explains what the app accesses and what happens to your data.

The short version

CheckIn Pro is local-first. Your progress photos and settings live on your device (and in your own photo library). The app has no account and no CheckIn Pro server, and your photos and check-in data are never sent to us. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.

What the app accesses

• Camera — to shoot your progress photos. Images are processed on-device.
• Microphone & Speech Recognition — only when you use the optional "let's go" voice trigger to start a hands-free session. Audio is used on-device by the system speech recognizer to detect the trigger phrase; CheckIn Pro does not record or store your audio.
• Photo Library — to save your captured photos and comparison exports into a "CheckIn Pro" album, and keep them connected to your in-app library.
• Motion (camera frames) — Motion-capture mode analyzes the live camera feed on-device to detect when you're holding still. These frames are not saved or transmitted.

Where your data goes

Photos you capture are stored in your device's app storage and your photo library. App settings (theme, timing, show date, library index) are stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any CheckIn Pro server.

Subscriptions

If CheckIn Pro offers an optional Pro subscription, purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and subscription status is managed through RevenueCat. This involves an anonymous, app-generated identifier and your purchase/subscription state — used only to deliver Pro features. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising or tracking. Your progress photos are never involved. Third parties

The app includes no advertising and no analytics that profile you. The system speech recognizer may be provided by your device's OS (Apple/Google) and is governed by their privacy terms.

Future coaching features

If a future version adds optional cloud sync or coach sharing, that will be opt-in, and this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is shared and with whom before the feature is enabled.

Your control

You can delete photos from the in-app Library at any time, and manage or delete the "CheckIn Pro" album from your device's Photos app.
